Practise new vocabulary in context. 教 学 主 题 该板块的活动主题是 “ 描述你的高中第一天 ” （ Describe your first senior high school day ）。学生从交流各自的感受出发，阅读一名中国高中生记录开学后第一天所见所闻及所做所想的网络个人主页，体会同龄人的经历及感受，最后能对自己的第一天进行比较全面的描述。开学第一天是每个学生值得纪念的日子，学生把它记录下来并进行反思是一件有意义的事情。 教 学 重 点 引导学生梳理主人公 Han Jing 的经历和心情；帮助学生理解并学会运用一定的词汇和句式表达自己开学第一天的经历和感受。 教 学方 法 1. 从阅读材料中提取关键信息，预测文本内容，了解文本体裁和文本特点。 2. 将不同词汇分类总结、积累，学会正确使用所学单词。 教 学 内 容 与 过 程 Lead-in 教师通过问题，引入阅读话题，同时帮助学生初步掌握生词。 Step 1 Before reading （ 1 ）学生完成活动 1 。教师询问学生开学第一天的感受，可以板书学生回答的表示感受的形容词，同时补充更多表示感受的生词： anxious 、 annoyed 、 frightened 、 awkward 等。根据学生的回答，教师可进一步询问学生产生此种感受的原因。以下提问和提示供参考。 How did you feel on your first day of senior high school?
