The Animal Emergency Service (AES) —
Jindalee
was established to ensure veterinary (
兽医的
) attention is available to pets when general practices are not open. This means we are open all weekend, public holidays and overnight during the week, and closed each weekday morning at 8 am.
when
veterinary care is more widely available.
While your pet is in hospital at the AES, you
can be assured
that your pet is constantly taken care of by experienced vets and nurses.
There are
3
alternatives that may be appropriate — your vet will advise you which of these is most suitable for your pet:
1. Returning home: If your pet’s illness or injury has gotten better, or
can be treated
at home, you will be required to collect your pet before 8 am.
2. Transfer (
转移
) to your regular veterinarian: If your pet is stable, but still requires veterinary attention, you will need to transfer your pet to your regular general practice veterinarian. As most practices in this area open at 8 am, we ask that you be prepared to collect your pet between 7 am and 7:45 am.
3. Referral (
转诊
) for Specialist Care: If your pet requires the services of a specialist veterinarian, you
may be referred
to the Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS). An appointment with the appropriate specialist
will be made
for you as soon as possible, so we ask that you be prepared to attend the practice before 8 am.
If you are unsure of your pet
’
s requirements, please phone the AES before 12 am (midnight), the night before your pet is due to be discharged (
准许离开
).
In the morning, your pet is to
be discharged
from the care of the AES, please phone early in the morning (before 6:30 am) to make an appointment.
We aim to have all patients discharged before 9:30 am.
Thank you for trusting the care of you
